There’s no low resolution scans, all images are produced with the highest resolution.

The sample above is an example of a ECN2 500T film shoot in a sunny conditions without any filtration applied. Scanned with a border from a 35mm film. 

That’s a comparation between Nikon 4000 Scan (left image) and DSLR scan (right image) — that shows identical resolution and level of details in my tests. (100% zoom)
